HOW TO HANDLE ".ZIP" DOWNLOAD FILE

The overwhelming majority of the internet distributed shareware are in ZIP compressed format to save storage space and to reduce download time. So, knowing how to handle these ZIPed download files is just as important as knowing where to find useful files to download.

Normally, after downloading a ZIPed software/shareware, you need to "unzip" (to decompress) it to find its setup file which is usually named "Setup.exe". If you haven't had experience with a program called WINZIP before. Here are some simple steps to follow:

1. Download WINZIP, and save it to your computer (such as your DESKTOP);
2. Install WINZIP by double-clicking the saved WINZIP file;
3. Find your ZIPed download file, such as NJCWP420.ZIP, and double-click to open it;
4. Find the "Setup.exe" to run the installtion process.
