NJStar Refund Policy

NJStar software products are marketed as "shareware" - we offer a fully functional evaluation/download version for potential users to "try before you buy". Therefore, it is assumed that when a user purchased the registered version from us on CDROM, he/she is satisfied with the program's features and functionalities, so that no refund/return request would therefore be requested by the user on such basis. 

If you have not tested our free evaluation versions from our download sites, please do so before you place your order to make sure that the product you are ordering is what you want. 

With above said, however, we will consider any such refund/return request on its own merits, and make best efforts to assist you in the following way: 
 

  1. you send your refund/return request to "sales @njstar.com" and state the reason for such request;
     
  2. we will reply to you according to your request to determine if the request should be considered as reasonable given the above stated reason for "shareware" marketing;
     
  3. if we decided to accept your request for product refund/return, we will notify you with Return Authorization Number to send the CDROM back to us;
     
  4. After we received the returned CDROM, we will then credit your account for the amount you paid for the software (shipping/handing fee is not refundable).
     

Please note that refund will not be given if the CDROM is simply send back with a note attached which tells us bluntly to "refund to my account". 

We will not accept refund/return request for CDROM that have been opened and installed with the personalised "User Registration" information stated on the invoice. And if the request is based on any damage to the CDROM media during the mailing process, we will gladly offer CDROM replacement rather than a refund.
